About Me
What fuels me? It’s the art of storytelling—whether I’m acting, singing, speaking, or hosting The Tania Joy Show. I’m passionate about sharing real moments from my life, reflecting on the world around me, and inviting others into conversations that point back to truth, faith, and purpose. This site is my open and honest platform for navigating life’s journey with grace and grit—no matter what comes my way.
I was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and have lived across the U.S. and in Canada. My heart has always been drawn to the stage and the screen, and after years devoted to raising my children, I’m humbled and grateful to return to this calling with a deeper sense of mission than ever before.
These days, it’s me and my Sheepadoodle, Esther, walking out life together—one prayer, one step, and one act of obedience at a time. Though I live with MDS, a rare form of blood cancer, I choose each day to keep pressing forward, trusting that God still has purpose in my pain. I may be in a battle, but I’m not backing down.
I believe I’ve been called for such a time as this—to be a modern-day Esther. Like her, I believe our voices are needed now more than ever: to stand for truth, to speak boldly, and to lead with love in a world desperate for light. Whether I’m on stage, on screen, or behind the mic, my heart is to reflect God’s glory and call others to rise in their purpose too.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me thrifting for treasures, resting by the beach, loving on my Esther pup, or switching it up—from comfy jeans and a ballcap to an evening gown and red carpet. Life is a beautiful balance, and I’m here for all of it.
“Perhaps you were born for such a time as this.” —
Esther 4:14
If you’d like to see more of what I do, feel free to check out my acting and singing reels right here on the site. Whether it’s performing a dramatic monologue, singing a worship song, or hosting The Tania Joy Show, every piece of it is an expression of the calling I carry. It’s my joy to create and share from a place of authenticity—and I’m so glad you’re here to be part of it.
