House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green has uncovered shocking evidence that some Chinese migrants who have crossed the southern border illegally and been released into the U.S. by the Biden administration are connected to the Chinese Communist Party and China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
The intelligence was provided directly to Green by a Border Patrol sector chief, and it is estimated that a roughly 393% increase in illegal Chinese migrants at the southern border, with 9,711 Chinese migrant encounters recorded between October 2022 and April.
This revelation comes as Green presents his findings which suggest that Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is guilty of “dereliction of duty” in his handling of the crisis at the border.
According to a report released this week after a five-phase investigation into Mayorkas’ tenure, it is expected that this probe will be concluded in roughly 12 weeks.
China expert Gordon Chang recently expressed serious concerns about potential sabotage from these Chinese migrants crossing into the United States during an interview with The Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF).
He stated: “When I first saw that there was a surge in Chinese migrants, that’s the thought that came to my mind — these are either Ministry of State Security agents or Chinese military who are coming to this country to commit acts of sabotage against us.”
However, DHS has defended Mayorkas’ leadership when confronted regarding his handling of events occurring at the southern border. Despite this defense, Chairman Green maintains firm conviction in his assessment: “I believe that the major fault falls with Secretary Mayorkas.”
This alarming situation requires immediate attention from both sides of Congress if we hope to protect our nation from any potential threats posed by illegal immigrants tied to hostile foreign entities like China’s PLA.
