Documents leaked to Politico suggest that Hunter Biden may have been involved in the impeachment of President Trump over Ukraine.
His legal team released a full case file that provides insight into the five-year investigation conducted by the Department of Justice.
The New York Times and Politico both published reports based on these documents, shedding light on the situation surrounding Hunter Biden’s case and the inner workings at the Justice Department.
According to emails obtained by Politico, Hunter Biden reportedly met with impeachment lawyers in January 2020.
This follows the impeachment inquiry launched in September 2019 by Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats into President Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Despite what Adam Schiff and other Democrats have suggested publicly, the conversation between the two leaders was reported as cordial with no threats, pressure or quid pro quo being made.
As the House of Representatives considered impeaching President Trump, Hunter Biden reportedly met with lawyers involved in the process.
This comes as questions arise regarding the alleged conversation between Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky, where Trump asked Zelensky to investigate Joe Biden’s threats to withhold money from Ukraine and Hunter Biden’s purported involvement with Burisma Holdings.
The FBI has possession of a laptop allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden that contains evidence of criminal activity relating to his work in Ukraine.
President Trump reportedly asked Ukrainian President Zelensky to investigate the firing of Viktor Shokin, the former prosecutor general tasked with probing Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky, Hunter Biden and Burisma Holdings.
On January 26th, 2020, it was reported that Hunter Biden’s advisors requested him to set aside several hours in order to review documents related to his tax bill.
However, Biden stated that he had a meeting with impeachment lawyers the following day and would not be able to accommodate the request until Tuesday.
And this curious fact: Hunter was involved in the Trump impeachment over Ukraine. In the summer of 2019, he tells an adviser he has an all-day meeting “with impeachment lawyers”. After 5 years, he still has not been interviewed by Weiss’ team or testified before the grand jury. pic.twitter.com/yVK7Az8DsQ
