Biden White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre offered condolences to the “trans community” after Audrey Hale, who identified as a transgender man, was named by police as the shooter at a Christian school in Nashville.
Jean-Pierre appeared to suggest that criticisms of the transgender community are “shameful” and “disturbing” and claimed that transgenders, not Christians, are “under attack” in America’s current political climate.
“It is shameful. It is disturbing, and our hearts go out to the trans community as they are under attack right now,” Jean-Pierre told reporters at the White House during a Thursday press briefing.

Jean-Pierre’s remarks come after Biden on live television joked about ice cream and “good looking” children in a statement regarding the tragic murders, Valiant News reported.
When the president first approached the podium to address the tragic deaths of at least six Americans, Biden first discussed his well-publicized love of ice cream, and even made a product endorsement.

“I eat Jeni’s Ice Cream, chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream,” Biden said, drawing disparate laughter from the crowd. “By the way, I have a full refrigerator upstairs. You think I’m kidding? I’m not.”
After amusing the audience with ice cream talk, Biden then appeared distracted by “good looking kids” in front of him.
“It’s delight to have you all here — and who are those good looking kids back there?” Biden asked.
Biden additionally appeared to joke around with reporters on the South Lawn of the White House yesterday about the idea that Christians were targeted by now-deceased transgender Hale.

In light of the White House response, 45th President Donald Trump yesterday slammed Biden over his Nashville tone and explained why he banned those undergoing transgender hormone treatments from the U.S. military while he was in office.
“It was so horrible. Everyone was waiting to hear is words and he’s talking about ice cream, with a laugh. He’s laughing about it, he’s joking about it. Now we’re in serious trouble,” the 45th President said.
