Schiff In Rare Congressional Company After Being Censured by House

On Wednesday evening, Rep. Adam Schiff was censured by a majority of House members and has gone down in U.S. history.

According to attorney Rogan O’Handley, Schiff is only one of two dozen members of Congress since the country’s founding to be censured in this way.

“Adam Schiff has been officially Censured by Congress,” O’Handley, whose social media handle is “DC Draino,” tweeted Wednesday evening following the vote.

“Only 25 Reps have been censured in US history He will now have to stand in front of Congress while Speaker McCarthy scolds him for his role in aiding & abetting illegal spying on President Trump Humiliating!” he added.

The effort to censure Schiff began with Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.), who labeled him a “criminal” for leveraging his former position as head of the House Intelligence Committee to falsely accuse former President Donald Trump of “colluding” with Russia to undermine the 2016 election.

During an interview on Fox News earlier this month, Paulina Luna discussed the House Oversight Committee’s ongoing efforts to hold former Schiff accountable for lying about the Trump-Russia investigation without any significant evidence to back claims of alleged collusion.

Luna also introduced a measure to expel Schiff from the House of Representatives after Special Counsel John Durham’s report revealed he repeatedly lied about “collusion” between former President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russia.

“I will speak to Adam Schiff. Maria, I have a privileged resolution that I’m bringing to the floor, and we are going to fine that man 16 million dollars for using his position to lie to the American people and ultimately push something that not only destroyed our country but ripped us apart and I believe, maybe even permanently damaging foreign relations. He is a criminal, and Adam Schiff, you will be held accountable,” Luna said.

“And yet, he was privileged to information that not even I or many of my colleagues would be able to see,” Luna went on to say.

For years, according to Luna, Schiff had been pushing false accusations that cost American taxpayers millions of dollars and damaged our foreign relations permanently without providing any significant evidence or proof behind his claims.

Furthermore, Former CIA Director and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo recently claimed that he was forced to limit how much information he gave to Schiff and his staff out of fear that it would be weaponized and selectively leaked to the media which is considered a felony at minimum and up treason according what co-host Emily Compagno mentioned during her show on ‘Outnumbered’.

The Republican majority had no choice but vote against Schiff’s conduct throughout former President Donald Trump’s term since there were no explanations or legitimate defenses available anymore after Durham’s report revealed all truth behind his lies and how detrimental they were for the nation both economically & politically.

Democrats tried shaming their decision, yet failed.
