The recent crisis at the United States-Mexico border has raised concerns both domestically and internationally, as many migrants seek asylum in the U.S. from their respective countries of origin.
The immigration policy of the Trump administration to “Remain in Mexico” was rescinded due to a pandemic that granted the government extraordinary powers, which has since resulted in a drastic increase of migrant crossings into America’s borders.
In response, Republican Senator Ted Cruz made an appearance on Fox News during which he argued that this influx presents a threat to American security and safety due to President Joe Biden’s policies that these issues have become so rampant.
Stephen King proceeded to mock Cruz by referencing his trip to Cancun during an energy crisis which left many Texans without power during a brutal snowstorm in February 2021.
Cruz fired back on Monday with an accusation against King.

“I spend a lot of time at the southern border. I’ve spent a lot of time with our border patrol agents. It’s never been remotely this bad. This is an invasion & our families are less safe because Joe Biden is president,” Cruz tweeted.
“You’ve also spent a lot of time in Cancun. That’s pretty south, right?” King mocked.
“Multi-millionaire Leftist @StephenKing sits in his mansion in Maine and laughs at the kids being abused & the women being sexually assaulted on our Southern border,” Cruz responded.
“He doesn’t give a damn about their suffering—or about the 853 migrants who died last year or the 100k Americans who died of drug overdoses,” he added.
“Nope. What does he want to talk about? Cancun,” Cruz concluded.
The crisis of the border has worsened greatly under President Joe Biden’s first term as more and more migrants have crossed into the U.S. ostensibly seeking asylum.
I’m sick of all these Godless, left wing “celebrities” putting their two cents worth in like their opinion is the only one. Sounds a little narcissistic to me. My advice to Stephen King, “get saved”, get to know the Lord Jesus Christ.
King, a man making a ton of money by writing about deliberate stalking and terrorization of others, is akin to tyrants sharing baking recipes.
